Measured evidence

SEO Results from Anonymised Portfolio Data

This page shows dated first-party search data from sites in my own portfolio. The domains remain anonymous, so the evidence is grouped by sector rather than presented as named client work. The figures come from Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4. They demonstrate what happened on those properties, not what every future project will achieve.

The short version: The evidence below records Google clicks, search impressions, and AI-assistant referral sessions from two portfolio sectors. Each chart names its source, metric, period, and extraction date. Results vary by market, starting position, implementation scope, and time.

What the Data Shows

Search Console measures how often a site appears in Google Search and how many clicks those appearances produce. GA4 records visits after the click, including referrals from AI assistants when the platform passes a detectable source. The charts preserve the observed values instead of projecting partial months or turning isolated gains into a universal promise.

The useful signal is the direction and the measurement discipline. Technical fixes, content architecture, internal links, and crawl management can be tied to changes in impressions and clicks. AI-search work can be checked against referral sessions. Commercial outcomes still require lead and revenue tracking inside the business, so traffic growth alone is never described as revenue.

Real results

Actual numbers, not promises

These are real figures from sites in my own portfolio, pulled straight from Google Search Console and GA4 and shown by sector, not by name. Two different niches, the same trajectory: the kind of growth the work is built to produce.

Google Search ConsoleEV Charging

Google clicks per month

From near zero at launch to 622 clicks in June. July had already passed 626 by the 15th.

Google Search ConsoleHealth & Wellness

Search impressions per month

Google clicks over the same window grew from 174 in April to 476 in June.

Referrals from AI assistants

1,453 sessions from AI assistants in 90 days, most from ChatGPT, the traffic most SEO work still ignores.

What the Data Does Not Prove

An anonymous chart cannot prove that the same growth will occur in another sector. It does not replace a named testimonial, a client reference, or access to the underlying account. It also cannot isolate every cause because search performance changes with competition, seasonality, search demand, algorithm updates, and the site's own publishing history.

That limitation is stated plainly. SEO Guildford does not publish invented clients, composite testimonials, or hypothetical revenue as completed work. A proposal should instead begin with your current evidence: Search Console queries, landing pages, index coverage, technical constraints, lead events, and commercial priorities.

How Your Performance Would Be Measured

Measurement starts with a baseline before implementation. The baseline records clicks, impressions, average position, indexed pages, qualified leads, and any revenue data the business can reliably attribute. Each recommended change receives an owner, a deployment date, and a target metric.

Reporting then separates leading indicators from business outcomes. Crawl recovery and improved impressions can show that Google is processing the work. Clicks and landing-page engagement show whether visibility is attracting the right audience. Enquiries, calls, booked meetings, and revenue determine whether the work is commercially worthwhile.

Start With Your Own Evidence

A free audit provides a focused first look at technical health, query ownership, indexation, and obvious conversion gaps. The paid comprehensive review goes further with manual analysis, prioritisation, and implementation guidance. Both begin with the data available for your site rather than a generic forecast.
